Sandwich Anarchy
i will put pretty much anything inside a bread roll

Most of my lunches consist of a baguette with whatever fillings happen to be in the fridge at the time, and a condiment of some description. There have been times where the fridge didn’t exactly offer much choice, which resulted in some weird sandwiches.
- Cucumber & fancy jalapeño cheese with garlic sauce: I don’t know how to describe the cheese, it’s sold by Lidl here in packets of big circular slices like charcuterie. Anyway, that cheese carries the sandwich - it just isn’t the same with mozzarella or what have you. Cucumber kinda works as a sandwich filling but there are better alternatives I think.
- Ham, chorizo & cherry tomato with taco mayonnaise: Not bad! I think I would have preferred a bigger tomato. I don’t know why everyone acts like cherry tomatoes are the nicest ones, they’re too dense for my liking.
- Sliced bell pepper with caesar-style sauce: Why don’t more people put bell peppers in their sandwiches? This was awesome! It’s crunchy and sweet! I overdid the sauce on the first try though, it really doesn’t need much.
- Cheddar cheese & lettuce with garlic sauce: It’s an honest sandwich. Nothing spectacular to write home about but it does the job.
- Cheddar cheese & lettuce with sweet chilli sauce: When the garlic sauce ran out I tried sweet chilli instead. It’s a bizarre taste but it… kinda works? Reminded me a little bit of Ballymaloe relish. I need to try this again.
- Coleslaw: Literally just coleslaw. This feels way too easy. They sell plastic boxes full of Stuff that I can just scoop into my sandwich and be done with it?? Don’t mind if I do. Gotta watch the expiration date though.
